The Earth Poem by mark anthony st. rose

The Earth

I know the earth will us pass by,
like the shrubs and roses as they die,
like graces faces impermanent,
to float ethereal the skies firmament.
And we as well transient onlookers,
forgetting our mortality,
praying yet for immortality.
