The Edge - Poem by Ana xxx

At sharp edge
I found the mirror that doesn't lie
I've found my ugly face
At the edge,
I've found peace
Escape
I've found my out
At the edge
I lost myself
Now i will never be found

Interesting analogy - 'the edge'. I use these two words to describe that place where resistence kicks in - be it in a Yoga posture, or in life. I teach the students to not to attack it or avoid it but to lean on it with the breath and use it as an opportunity to transform, to grow. The process can be quite blissful. I believe there you have touched on something similar in this thought-provoking piece. love, Allie xxxx (Report)Reply
