Conceived in the womb of of an aged mimicry owl, impregnated by a loquacious parrot
before the dawn of fusion --
I inherited the rotary neck of 360 degree
with watchful eyes, and the loquacious tongue
of parrot - to gossip the many devilry
Of the birds of passage, the nomadic egrets,
fondling cow - are decorated rifles of extinction -
that conquer ratite birds and rule.
I played the hooting guitar inherited
from Mama owl, 'U-u-u--uh u-u-u-u---uh',
a dewdrop on hard rock.
I resounded the gossiper's note inherited,
from Papa parrot to chant familiar notes --
that fly a feather on whirlwind.
I beat the ancient talking drum inherited
from Oduduwa, an echoe of distance symphony,
kinda faint to be heard by the deaf and dumb.
I gossip, but you do not listen
I sing, but you do not mind the rhythm
I beat drum, but you refuse to dance;
at the trumpet of war you went to bed!
Listen, egret not only eat the flea of cow,
the rifle-legged decoration of battle
is the donkey symbol of invasion - the whirlwind
that sow seeds of domestic caging.
My rotary neck of 360 degree,
gave notice of the rifle-legged egrets
at the top of the blindfolded Afghanistan -
by this same twist, this same wand --
'Endorse my sceptre for paradise now
donate your land as ramp for cow
plant crops for cow to feed
open border for scavenger bird'
And the ratite birds are amalgamated
to erect the cenotaph of Dan fodio-
the symbol of domestic castration.
