The End Poem by India Wallace

The End

Rating: 4.0

Tears fall freely
From bloodshot eyes
Sobs escape through dry lips
Remembering all your strategic lies

Happy endings,
I've read in fairytales
Filled with love and laughter
A white dress and lacy vales

But this,
This is not how i thought it would be
Nothing like the fairytales
Just your image haunting me

Happy endings?
No, they are not real
Endings are filled with heartache
And wounds that never heal
