The End - Poem by victoria martinez

We play the role of love
Wear our broken hearts
Smile through the tears
And our laughs become sighs
Our destiny becomes a lie
We sit in our situations
We hold every emotion within
Our eyes are always glassy
Pain is found in the broken trust
Holding love dear saying to survive we must
Never finishing the thoughts
You come home, and look at me
Loving eyes and you hold me tight
You always win this game
Especially when you make me forget to blame
Because in the end
What is really the end?
I want the hurt to end
I can’t live in a lie
Because all I hear are lies
Lying about the end
Ends the lies from within
Lets just waste away
Become our own end.
