One day the sting of death will come
My human form to earth succumb
How brave are we that knowing this
Each day we still awake in bliss
Am I prepared to part from you?
With my last breath I'll bid adieu
Will all the plans I had for us
Then simply be superfluous?
Will all the dreams of life then end
Without a chance to make amends?
In brevity I say this now
No matter how the end will sound
I'll hold this promise in my heart
That heaven will redeem our past.
