They met beneath the union tree
A chance encounter this will be

He saw the light within her eyes
But failed to hear the silent cries

To him she was a chance to take
To her he posed a new heartbreak

For in her past were many years
Of fakes, that often led to tears

But even though she knew all this
Her heart said yes, let's take the risk

And so they liked, they lived and loved
Until their time on earth was done.
