The End Of Forever Poem by Austin Lockwood

The End Of Forever

the end of forever together
you may think life can't go on
how can you live without them
you opened up your heart
you bared your soul
you gave everything you had
you were in love
the deepest love you've ever known
you promised to be together forever
till the breath left your lungs
there was no one you would rather be with
your heart was complete
now the time has changed
their love for you is no longer there
they want to end the forever
that they promised you early
you don't know how you can live with it
we were meant to be you say
for every season in life there comes an end
if you were meant to be
you would already be

Love is a spiritual experience that affects all and sundry profoundly. It is whimsical and temperamental, coming unannounced and sometimes may leave without warning. It's a lovely piece of poetry, well articulated and nicely penned with insight. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
