The End Of Me Poem by Natasha Mahtani

The End Of Me

Crawling under my skin
Pinpricks on the soul
Permeating mind n being
Spreading like wildfire, this disease
Called you.

Taking over coherent thought
Clutching on to every heartbeat
Parasitic life, lived in a coma
Waiting for a fix, this drug
Called you.

Sucking out all happiness
Preying on the darkness within
Clawing, aching and craving
For this slow death
Called you.
