The Era Of The Dead Poem by Timothy muggaga

The Era Of The Dead

Rating: 5.0

They live to die!
Death, the longing of all men
They are born to die!
Fate, the companion of infants
In this era, the era of the dead.

They strip naked
Like in the garden of Eden
Where innocence ended
And righteousness melted
From the era of the dead

To make ends meet,
They meet the ends
The ends of life
A life of values and morals
And on streets, they lie naked

The era of the dead
Who insure their death
And dig their graves, the savings
To bury their souls, the wealth
Eternally in the pit of perdition.
