The Escape Of A Bridge Poem by Abby Wesson

The Escape Of A Bridge

Rating: 5.0

Should I stand here calm and steady
Head held low, heart felt heavy
A girl stood silent being deceived
Such shocking betrayal she had received
A blooded hand stolen and tattered
A soft gentle woman left robbed and battered
Awake I am in this dreadful dream
With no one here to notice my scream
A girl so young with nothing left to give
Such a wasted life she had to live
A sinful answer, she must not call
Only to find, with her last fall
