The Essentials Are Invisible To The Eye - Poem by Leslie Alexis
The essentials are invisible to the eye
Like love, which is a heavenly thing
It essence cannot be seen, but through
Action, it is brought to life. Like peace
Whose security is stronger than walls,
That bring stability to giant mountains
This invisible soldier, brings security to you.
Like joy, whose arms though invisible they may be,
Allows you to hug yourself, making you happy.
Like hope, packaged with faith, the only luggage
You must take, to make it through the day.
The essentials are invisible to the eye.
