The Eyes Of Innocence Poem by Purbesh Mahapatra

The Eyes Of Innocence

Rating: 5.0

Whose eyes are a maze with no escape
The celestial gold of water and fire
Below the titian night thrown to wind
Waters spill jackals howl for the two moons
About them both are brilliant and breathless
The sun was setting on your dream
To right the magnificent sun rose all white
Both the suns stared across my eyes
Your kind eyes the divine prize of all skies

Whose eyes are deep enough to hide a secret
The calm glare the deep stare
Hinged chains forgotten rains
When anythings end and journeys begin
The past is always a way I am not now in
As I learn from your eyes to heart
The place and me know not where we at
Whose eyes I see when I close my eyes
Your innocent eyes

Welcome to PoemHunter! The celestial gold of water and fire unite in eyes to flow through stream of river in life with Earth of emotion. Eyes are deep enough to hide a secret but the calmness is deeply expressed through vision. Past is gone and you are not now in that but the present flow is visible. When you open or close eyes you only see innocence and love. An excellent poem is brilliantly penned...Giving 10 marks in rating out of 10..
