The Falcon Escapes Poem by Nadalia Bagratuni

The Falcon Escapes

Rating: 2.8

Three years ago you left me on a launch.
We were never married and I never knew the story,
Now you have arrested me,
And I can not see,
What has happened to you and me?

I love you Melody,
You are my life,
Why are you trying to throw me in jail?
And ruin all I have left?

The memories we had,
That is all I now have,
Don't take them from me,
Or I will be mad!

As I have searched for you high and low,
You show up all of sudden as I was told,
You have the right to remain silent,
I don't really mind,
But I would like to shout out to you,
I love just the same,
And I'm only just a man.
