The Fallen Angel Poem by Ninja Soul

An handsome angel in heaven,
desperately wanted to go back to earth.
A place he ain't been in for a hundred years.

He was standing at the edge,
ready to jump and leave this place,
that was his home.

He jumped at last,
going against his instincts.

He fell to the ground.
When he rose up,
the girl of his dreams was standing there.
She was staring at him in awe.

He grabs her wrists,
and pulls her close to him.
Puts his arms around her,
and then he says,

'I fell from Heaven, just so I could hold you in my arms.'
