The False Elite Poem by Eillio Imbasciati

The False Elite

Rating: 5.0

There they stand,
Towering over all they presume,
Believing that they have found their status symbol
Turns out they are the false elite,
Seeming to be successful due to presiding in a relatively blighted region,
Truly a case of being a big fish in a small pond
Distant relatives to humility,
Kings and Queens to fiefdoms that can seem cold and empty to outsiders,
So naturally backlash ensues, prompting the surfacing of many ugly exchanges
Individuals can choose to live their lives anyway they want,
Some just wish it included a coherent perspective
