The Fault Of Man Poem by Randy McClave

The Fault Of Man

It's not Gods fault
I hope those blasphemous lies would halt,
It's not God's intention with a gun for man to kill
It's, the Devil and man's free will.
You never hear of mass killings with a stick
Or mass killings with a stone or a brick,
You never hear of mass killings with a knife or a sword
These mass killings are not created by the Lord.
Remember the Devil tempted Eve with an Apple
Upon that Biblical verse you should not grapple
You will know good and evil and be like God the Devil spoke
And you will be happy when your mind has awoke.

Now the Devil presented man with a gun
The Devil said use it and you will receive pleasure and great fun,
Now when man was tempted by that piece of delicious fruit
He then became locked and loaded and ready to shoot.
You can be like God and decide who will live or die
The Devil spoke and man again believed in his great lie,
Now man went out and created a new religion called the NRA
And unto their books and beliefs he now does constantly pray.
Now man never blames the killings on rifles or guns
He instead blames it on the people he calls the crazy ones,
But, like the Apple if the tempting fruit the gun wasn't ever created
Eden and peace from man would now not be gated.
