Then this was it
That you wanted me to see
In the sun or rain
Your favourite spot
In the mango grove
You called yours
All these years on;
How delightfully lonely it is
Here for you
To experience your presence,
To listen to music,
Your heart creates
And to fill it with words,
Only you know how.
I am glad you brought me here,
You and your beautiful face
Eyes and lips
And these surroundings,
Enchanted
Already I am writing a song,
Expressing my love to you;
The aroma of ripe mangoes
Fills the air
And I hear afar
A flute strike its magical notes,
That complement my song
By infusing a rhythm
You and I, in love, feel.
