The Fear Of Immolated Hunger Poem by Santosh Misra

The Fear Of Immolated Hunger

THE FEAR OF IMMOLATED HUNGER

Of course,
By the time a hellacious relationship
Gets redefined
Under a fresh format
Despite all its diversities
It is usually urged
That we augment efforts to confirm
That we are more united
Than divided in stretches.

It is never a strange
That we have been putting efforts continually
To blaze it in different hues
Yet the accidental potholes appear
On its way to prove us wrong.

Don't know if it develops cracks
On the inner walls of
So revered our kinship
Raising fear of an emotional explosion
In our apparent visioning for
Peace and tranquillity

Oh God! Save us
Amidst the immolated hunger
Through an incarnated process of Mercy killing
And help us stitching our differences
With valor.
