The world spins fast, a dizzying race,
Too much we've built, in time and space.
Our greed took hold, a hungry flame,
Whispering ruin, calling its name.
The ground beneath, it starts to shake,
A fragile balance, ready to break.
The towers tall, they lean and sway,
As shadows lengthen, of a coming day.
No magic cure, no hidden door,
Just what we sowed, and nothing more.
The signs are clear, for all to see,
The final chapter, soon to be.
