The First Heart-Break Poem by MONCIANA EDMONDSON

The First Heart-Break

sadness amplified
thoughts of suicide
relief will come maybe if i died
hope's hands are tied
fate's dark Will shall abide
Eyes that cried
those lips that lied
people that were never on your side
mourn the death of pride
on the dark angel's wings sadly ride
despair like an ocean deep and wide
Love has ceased to abide
spiritual health compromised
named suffering's bride
even faith ran to hide
pain that will not subside
will remain long after the tears have dried
time diminishes but the bitter taste will abide
