Lights out;
strip off my clothes.
Glance at whatever
stares back at me
reflected
by the luminous glow of the moonlight.
like a never ending haunting
the pale eyes look me over.
He loves every inch of my skin
so I know not to hold back
Feeling his shadow
enter the room-
he burns my my fears to ashes
and my prince emerges from the depths of
the night.
Slivers of light reflect from his eyes
I'm automatically captured by the view.
Falling into his arms
sinking through to a bed of roses
and his wings of gold
fly us to the beginning of our happy ending;
to the first page of my fairytale.
