The First Robin Poem by John A. Hancock

The First Robin

Hail to thee red breast'd one
Thy presense we've long await'd
To sing out loud that spring is near
And winter soon abated
Chriping brightly to greet the day
With a cheerful melody
Joyous your song it is to hear
As youself it is to see
