The Fishing Experience Poem by Marilyn Lott

The Fishing Experience

Rating: 5.0

I just love pan fried fish
Straight from the line to the pan
There’s nothing quite as succulent
And crisp with a pan-fried tan

But first you’ve gotta catch ‘em
That’s lots of fun as well
Bring them home & chop them up
So you can enjoy that fryin’ smell

Just grab yourself a skillet
Put in a splash of oil
This is the easiest part
The fishing is the major toil

The entire experience is great
But you’d better have a hand
Because those fish are so big
You need help to get them on the land

So get your equipment ready, folks
Pack a lunch and fish all day
You’ll be so glad you did
So you can have that fish fillet!
