The Flickering Poem by oio ZIGA

The Flickering

The now is a scare
Future cloaked in a blur
But still I love
Always adore you I shall.

My wish
As I labour to pray
To earn your grace
Do good at least this once.

No longer reduced a stray
Lost soul adrift a lonely, hunted lake
Aboard this aged sinking boat
No arms to row...

Lost in an endless night
Pain laden,
Hopelessly retreating courage

But for an ember of hope.
