The Flowers And The Trees Poem by Chuy Amante

The Flowers And The Trees

When nature is not adored does it really exist?

A symphony unsung, when not noticed by man's eye?

In Nature do you see balance, the life and the death?

Is there beauty only in green and the lush?

Can beauty be seen, in brown deterioration?

Is it all parts of Heaven's perfect balance?

Is a flower better than a pine tree?

Is water wonderful but the sand dirty?

How about the rich man, or the bum?

One is so perfect the other's no good?

What creates the context from which beauty stands out?

If that were not there, would anything feel right?
