The Fly Poem by Marilyn Shepperson

The Fly

There was a fly buzzing noisily
As I sat down to dinner
It came and buzzed around my head
Landing on the table
It begged and begged for it's share
I shooed it away, away it flew
Only to return once more
And when that happened, I must confess
It did make rather a mess
