The Forgotten One Poem by james watkin

The Forgotten One

The forgotten one
Owe's what heart the price
Of countless tears, for what's missed?
Some debts, though, are nice!

The forgotten one
Of whom, time-misted
To live up to needs, no more
Which person's life-hopes.
Yet who's praise, out which climbed slopes
Is first sought - though dead!
