The Formidable Willow Poem by Bryan Taplits

The Formidable Willow

Rating: 5.0

The Sheltering Tree stood so proud
So large, so wide its girth;
It stalwart stood
and shook its limbs
As if it was the Earth.
A wind gusted forth one wayward day
A gust both mighty and fair
And seemed to say-
As it blew his way-
"Weep."
" For another tree stands taller
somewhere."
