The Free Bird - Alexis Karpouzos Poem by Alexis karpouzos

The Free Bird - Alexis Karpouzos

In the darkness of your sorrow,
In the emptiness of your grief,
when the hope of understanding has gone dim,
and the dreams fade away,
what we need is here,
a bird who hurt his wing
did not forget how to fly
and a withered flower has moisture at its root.
