The Game Of Life Poem by Tatianna Rei Moonshadow

The Game Of Life

Rating: 5.0

I'm alone as far as I can tell
I play my life and its all Hell
Games are worse than the acid of living
No matter what you must keep giving
Give your all or be pushed aside
You fall and fall and drown in the mudslide
Life is all down hill and nothing can help
So I retreat and hide inside myself
I hide all that I feel in my jail cell heart
And it slowly rips my entire being apart
I can't stand the pain but it has to stay inside
The pain of all the things I'm forced to hide
Hiding feelings is the only way you can live
When your pushed from the light with nothing left to give
You have to play the game if you wanted to be sparred
But no one said you had to play fair
