The Garden Of Me Poem by Micronjan (Micron)

The Garden Of Me

He dug a hole in the earth with care,
Added rich soil, then planted me there.
My tender branches stretched and grew,
With gentle tending, blooms soon broke through.

Time passed, and his attention waned,
I was ignored while other flowers gained.
I gave my strength so he could see me thrive,
Only for him to cruelly cut me down, alive.

Yet still I struggled, still I bloomed,
Though no one noticed, my heart consumed.
Alone I stood in fear's tight embrace,
Strangled by weeds, lost without trace.

My branches twisted, gnarled, and worn,
Thorns sharpened, my heart was torn.
Yet through the dark, a glimmer of light,
An occasional bloom fought against the night.

Then one day, someone came from nowhere,
Saw my faded beauty, my despair.
He cleared the weeds, gave me air and sun,
Nourished my roots—my new life begun.

With love and care, I grew strong and free,
Flowering fully, becoming just me.
At last, someone saw what no one had seen,
And I bloomed again in colors serene.
