The Gesture Unknown Poem by Iman Sadikeen

The Gesture Unknown

A sign, a gesture received unknown
From whence I wonder
The mate I treasure
or the fiend with a conspiring mind
Tell me out aloud
Oh please tell me out aloud!
A tree, thought I withered to its core long
Blossoms it yet again at the gesture unknown
What of its substance?
What of its purpose?
I ask my perturbed self
Tell me, Oh I beg you Tell me out aloud!
Answer my query unasked
For tied I am by bonds
making your sphere out of bound!
