The Ghosts Of Yesterday Poem by David Harris

The Ghosts Of Yesterday

Rating: 5.0

When the ghosts of yesterday call.
Some of them we embrace
and some of them we reject,
refusing to let them in.
They call just the same
to taunt us with our guilt’s
from morning until nightfall.
No matter how we try to avoid them
the ghosts of yesterday still call
when we least expect them.
