The Girl Within
There is a different girl within.
Fiery and independent.
The side of her rarely seen.
She is strong.
She is bold.
She is a dreamer.
She is a fighter.
She doesn’t let anyone tell her who to be.
Or what to wear.
Or who she should be friends with.
Even if they are trying to do what is best for her.
They should let her make her own mistakes.
And let her be the person that she is.
They should love her for everything she is.
And not fault her for the person she could be.
But if they don’t they should just move on.
Cause she not going to change for anyone.
I’m not going to change for anyone.
I’m through with being a different person on the outside.
It’s about time the girl within comes out.
I’m not going to be anyone but me.
Because I’m beautiful just the way I am.
On the inside and the outside,
I’m Going To Be The Girl Within.
