The Glance Poem by Julius Lenaiyarra

The Glance

Rating: 5.0

Meeting unintentionally at a busy avenue
In a hurried pace stole glances at each other
Without a feel of it at the time
We by-passed each other thoughtfully
In a nature's serene beauty of the moment
The sun bathes us in Golden hues
In a transcending moment of innocent glance
And we stole more glances at each other
The glance moment turned a century
Vows given in thoughts of me and you
As we seemingly agreed to the thought
Walking to mountain heights we never knew
With the object of affection; to see the depth of our love
You found me and I found you: we found each other
