The Glory Of The Gospel

The glory of the Gospel
What a story we have to tell
Eternity in the balance
Are you choosing Heaven or going to Hell
There's no beating around the bushes here
Christ made it very plain
Man's to repent of the sin in his life
So his soul will have Heaven to gain

Or will you still be captive to sin
Satan taking you at his will
And making your life a daily misery
Held in his bondage still
Well there's a Frredom Fighter
Who went to an old rugged Cross
Taking all the penalty you deserved
And offering eternal life instead of eternal loss

Make your heart ready to respond today
Will it... to repent of sin
Be done forever with the Father of lies
Begin your new beginning
Amen to what God's Word says
Call upon the name of Christ
Then fall upon your knees and worship Him
Who paid your sin's ransom price!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
