The Glowing Deer Poem by norman hale

The Glowing Deer

As I was coming out from hunting
On the seasons last night
Right there in front of me
Was a deer growing so bright

I raised up and shot
After taking careful aim
I knew this sounds crazy
But, I don't play any games

I drug it to the car
And it glowed all the way
I didn't show it to anyone
I was affraid of what they'd say

So, I hung it on the porch
And it glowed all night
When I went to gut it
It was a shocking sight

I thought that rudolph
Would try and save this deer
With its strange glow
And cause more trouble in the air

I couldn't even skin it
When it came morning light
But to much of my surprise
This deer was made of LIGHTS

couldn't get the pic to load that inspired this but it was
a lighted deer that goes in the yard someone hung it from the porch and
snapped a picture lol
