The Good Old Days - Poem by Danny Draper

There never were the good old days
as those that remember say,
For the days they remember
were when they were young,
and then,
they were too young to remember.

We always seem to look back to the past with rose tinted glasses as the present seems so troubled and unsettled. (Report) Reply

We all refer back to good old days, but those days might not have been so good as we don't remember them, being too young! However ignorance is bliss! Indeed a great poem! ! (Report) Reply
