The Hard Times We Carry In Our Heart. Poem by Eric Kaesberg

The Hard Times We Carry In Our Heart.

Rating: 2.5

The hard times we carry in our heart
Just thinking of you in a special way
knowing we may meet 1 day.
When that day comes will it be what
we were hoping for, I hope so cause then
we can reach out and open our doors.
Being lonely carries to much pain, I
hope meeting you will not be in vein.
I pray to God at night knowing he hears
my cries. I am as close as a phone call
away, so don't be shy and please don't
be afraid. The time to meet a new lover is
only a chance and hope we do not have to
keep looking for others.
The hard times we carry in our minds
must be released and say its now time.
Time to give not only to someone I want
to trust, but to ourselves and this a must.
When you awake each day, just think
that the one you love will be with you
and will say such nice things that will
heal our hearts to never want to be apart.
