The Heartless Saboteur - Poem by Michael Fischer

The heartless saboteur,
they call their leader,
disguises his plot of destruction
with his motivational speech
that depicts the oblivious
as the fearless enemy.

The mindless worship him,
crediting him for giving them
Their second wind in the race
for unchallenged power.

They follow his every order
in hopes of achieving his goal.
But they never once thought
for themselves and what was
best for them.
If only they had.
If only.
