I'm gonna surprise you one day
With a thing that I can do.
Of course, you'll know about it
'Coz I've written about you.

It's really kind of amazing,
Boy, it's even refreshing!
I have always love reading,
Didn't think much though, about writing.

You once suggested something,
Thought, 'No, not my kind of thing.'
You said, it's called blogging.
And it's sometimes, soul baring.

Told you, it's not for me,
You said, It just might be.
Brutally honest, that, I can be.
But you bring out the poet's itch in me.
