Green White Green,
Colours wash my being,
One that gives me pride,
Oh! I care not what men say,
Or thoughts that brew hard in prejudiced hearts.
But i will rise,
Waving the flag,
Of the earth that has given birth to me,
My country,
My Nigeria.
And though the darkness,
of the night,
Seems to prevail,
The horizon shall rise,
High above my beloved homeland.
