The House They Lived In Poem by Nick krakana

The House They Lived In

There was no picket fence to see
No winding path flowered up nicely
Not even a little house... dressed in cedar shake
Under the mighty Oak.... so great

None of these came to mind
As I thought of this humble life gone by
It was on the place to be.....
This away on the side we strive to see

He said...." I go to prepare a place for thee...
This tent your in is temporary.....
For in my mansion there are many rooms.....
And I'm going to get one ready for thee "

Come closer to me
And there you will see
In the daily teachings
I present to thee

Beautiful side to the mansions he said He would prepare us rooms in. I like how you led into this!
