The Hudson River Landing Poem by White Tiger

The Hudson River Landing

Flight 1539...You're cleared for take off!

Camera images around the world
Capturing a story, easy to sell
As an aircraft approached the Hudson strip
It made a splash, but did not flip

Then people excited on submerging wings
Into the frigid cold, of all things
But rescue squads showed up fast
Saving the people, a heroic task

God bless the captain and all his crew
Whom under pressure, knew what to do
Now, captain Sully is a hero to all
Representing bravery, with a plaque on his wall

And so goes the story of this famous flight
Making a landing with all its might

Flight 1539...You're cleared to land
On a strip of water, on God's hand.
