The Hurt That Is Felt - Poem by Brittany Marsh

The hurt that is felt
Way deep down below
I keep it there
So no one will know
What will happen
When i can hold no more
Because often times i feel
That my heart is sore
Somtimes you don't realize
The pain verbs cause
Only if you'd take a minute
to stop and pause
I'm faced with temptations
And so much sin
Trying to do whats right
Yet tring to stay in
But thats not my worrie
Nor is it my concern
It's the time thats not left
That love i yern
I'm not quite an adult
Don't desire to be yet
Because memories of a childhood
Are not quite met
I didn't want to ask for much
All i wanted was you
Hoping that you would want me too
