The Ignored Vet Poem by Randy McClave

After the executive orders trump did say
They are firing people from the VA,
The real reason I didn't know why
As the veterans and their families did plead and cry.

Veterans have served our country proudly
As I screamed it loudly,
For our country they served and fought
With their blood and pain our way of life was bought.

Now trump wants the VA no more
For our soldiers that had served in conflicts and war,
Now our veterans will be treated like trash
So, musk and trump can save the country some cash.

I guess it's much easier to bury a vet
Trump without saying it, believes that without sympathy or respect,
Less to worry about and/ or to take care of one
Thought the coward traitor don.
