The Indian Hawk, Shikra Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

The Indian Hawk, Shikra

Rating: 5.0

I saw it perched on the tree
The banded goshawk, sparrowhawk,
The shikra with the grizzled, freckled feathers
And wings taking short flights
Going for a kill,
Ogling strangely.
