The Inevitable Poem by Engin Kavrak

The Inevitable

Rating: 5.0

Mark, the ineviteble has already
Dropped in its larvae
Within your mind
There is a silence for me
There I have planted you
And what you have made of me
By a rush, or a glimmer,
Or through a slow progress
Or maybe your mind
To the forbidden tresspass
In search of a bless or power

Here where I draw the line
Beyond this there is nothing
You could try
My existence stays
Wİthin the treshold of your grasp
I am ethereal yet mortal by your death
Do you realise that you will die
Distinguish my truth with a lie
Extinguish the burning pain
And as you try
The black disaster of a rotting symphony
Fills your ears with depression
The supreme commander of duty
Beats your reasons
Animates your mind's tricksters
Come back, you are my only gate
Where I can reach your pressure plate
Wİthin your mazes of treasures
Your agony teases my insanity
Such a fair trade
Where you can lure myself to me
Much of a fair patience
Where you can bid me undone

Piece of elegance well brought forth in lovely diction with conviction. Thanks for sharing Engin.
