The Innocent Man Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The Innocent Man

Rating: 5.0

The innocent and simple man met
The heinous devil
Of the dark and murky realm,
The devil said to the man
In a gruff voice,
"I will snatch every great thing from you, "
Then the simple man gently said to the obnoxious devil,
"But you will never succeed
To snatch the pure and innocent smile from my face."
